Having installed Van Damme 4mm speaker cable into my system and being most impressed by this seemingly unassuming cable, I decided to try Van Damme shot gun interconnect cable, to replace my Atlas (£100 plus) cable. On first hearing, I wasn't over impressed, and didn't think that it was an improvement over the Atlas, which is pretty good. Having dismissed the Van Damme and gone back to the Atlas, I recently thought about re-trying the Van Damme. This time this cable has remained in my system, having noted that it is superior to the Atlas in terms of neutrality, musicality and detail. This cable is an utter bargain and intend to buy more. Something to mention is that this cable improves with use, as I have discovered.
