VDC were asked on incredibly short notice of 1 week to provide of over 10 hours of custom manufacturing for the festivals. This included microphone cables that were made on custom BBC-branded OB Quad microphone cable, that VDC keeps plentiful stock of. The cable has been specified for the BBC right down to the last detail and ensures that their cable meet the very highest standards that they demand.  This is in addition to various XLR multicore looms and speaker cables, also on Tour grade black series cable. All of these were also labelled and had custom boots per the BBC’s own specification. In addition, over 100 BNC cables on the super flexible and tough Van Damme extended distance RG6 cable were provided to ensure top notch 4K 12G performance for the video screens across the events. 

Despite the tight lead-time, VDC were keen as ever to produce the result and be back doing what we do best. After a lengthy hiatus of live music, we were thrilled to be able to provide the support to our customers to participate in this much missed part of the UK’s rich musical culture.
