Both Ade and Laura are responsible for working closely with the sales team, helping VDC maintain effective workflow in the business and ensuring that customer demands are met.
Ade has over five years’ logistics experience, previously working at Katoen Natie in Belgium, ML Components in Germany and Eddie Stobart in the UK. He holds two masters degrees – one in business administration and management from KU Leuven and the other in business process management from UHasselt. He also speaks a number of languages including English, Flemish Dutch German and Yoruba.
Laura is an international business graduate who has worked in a number of roles – including as a website coordinator, an admin and sales assistant – before she joined VDC. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Niall Holden, CEO at VDC Trading, said: “As we grow the business, we recognise that a robust but agile approach to customer support and logistics is vital within our operations team. Our aim is to further strengthen our industry relationships and these two new roles do just that. Ade and Laura are joining a dynamic and supportive company that is passionate about developing talent, and we are delighted to welcome them to the team. We look forward to them contributing to the success and productivity of VDC.”
