Part of the wider £50m Beeston Square development, the Arc Cinema includes 700 luxury leather electric reclining seats, laser digital projection and Dolby Digital 7.1 surround sound in six of its eight screens.  The remaining two screens boast giant Hypersense formats which uses 4k laser projection and Dolby Atmos to convey the drama of every scene with maximum impact and precision. 

Van Damme cable was specified by the architect as the cable of choice.  VDC provided over 5km of Van Damme Tour Grade 2x6mm speaker cable to ensure that the Dolby Atmos immersive sound system was installed to best effect.  

Van Damme was chosen for its unbeatable sonic fidelity and quality. VDC was able to fulfil the order quickly and effectively in the middle of a pandemic and lockdown and in the amount the customer specified. Over 40 cuts were supplied, neatly labelled and ready to be installed within two to three days.

The new cinema is a huge positive step in the re-emergence of the arts and leisure sector in Beeston.
