Manufacturing standards

  • Each assembly is uniquely made as per your individual instruction
  • Uses the precision engineered Van Damme stagebox as standard
  • Terminated using 2% Silver solder - lead free RoHS compliant
  • Choice of Van Damme Blue, Super AES or Black Series dependant upon application
  • All tails are protected with pliosil braided sleeving for tangle-free use
  • Numbered using Brady numbers under clear heatshrink
  • Heavy duty adhesive heatshrink used at main breakout and connector end
  • Length of unshrunk clear heatshrink fittedfor labelling
  • UP LC-OFC conductors in all multicores for optimum signal transmission

Detachable stagebox multicore systems

These systems are specifically designed for more 'major league' applications such as professional sound reinforcement companies catering for the larger venue touring market. After many years of manufacturing these systems we believe we have arrived at the definitive solution for systems that need to be 100% reliable night after night, gig after gig. For example when a band goes on tour these systems could be rigged and de-rigged every night for up to 6 months with little or no maintenance but equally problem free.

Our recommended multipin is the VDM connector. These bullet-proof connectors are now so well established and used with such confidence in the UK touring market that sub hiring between PA companies is commonplace.

Multipin types

  • VDM bayonet locking circular multipole - the established professional standard
  • DDK screw thread circular multipole up to 24 channel only
  • Heavy duty rectangular multipin
  • EDAC - usually recommended for studio or installation applications
  • CEEP 13 pole for VDC 4 channel cheese wedge stagebox systems

These multicore systems are extremely flexible and as we manufacture to the customers exact specification any variation is possible. Some examples follow but if you do not see what you need please call us.
