In continuing to improve the access to their multimedia resources, the British Library approached VDC to modify headphone cables to enable usage across their 13 reading rooms.
VDC designed a bespoke solution and constructed cables that were resilient for public use and installed them to over 200 computers in their reading rooms in London and Yorkshire. The result provides not only great sound quality for the user but ensures the headphones can’t be removed, ending problems the library had previously experienced.
