VDC Trading Continuous Product Development Seminars prove a hit Building Consultant Buro Happold delighted with ‘hugely informative’ first session as more firms sign up for tailored technical briefings Leading AV cable specialist, London-based VDC Trading, is developing a series of Continuous Product Development (CPD) style seminars for Building Service Companies. The initiative is designed to provide building firms’ specifiers, Acoustics and AV teams with an opportunity to bring their technical knowledge bang up to date.
VDC managing director, Niall Holden, said: “As a business we have a strong reputation for providing our customers with excellent technical consultancy, so providing these seminars is the next logical step. As well as giving us the chance to strengthen relationships with our clients in the industry, they offer those attending a hugely time and cost effective way to keep pace with the latest technologies and techniques.”
Provided free of charge and tailored to the specific needs of specific firms and teams, the sessions include tutorials on:
In addition, the seminars provide attendees with the opportunity to inspect samples and seek expert advice on current cabling challenges.
Alistair Meachin, Associate, Buro Happold, was amongst those attending VDC’s first CPD Seminar earlier this month. He said: “VDC provided a hugely informative and enjoyable CPD session to our Acoustics & AV team on audio-visual cables. Both single and hybrid cables were covered, and the presentation gave us a good opportunity to examine samples. The session helped us to keep up to date with the latest products and techniques in AV distribution.”
